Equiport Digital Marketing Assistant Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join us at one of the UK’s biggest equestrian retailers.

Working across both online and in-store retail, you’ll help us to promote the ultimate equestrian shopping experience. You’ll create a real buzz around our luxurious and innovative brands with compelling social media and email content, and create an engaging narrative that appeals to our customer base.

You will be an equine enthusiast, with plenty of background knowledge and experience to bring to the role, although training and information will be provided on our current and new products.

You’ll also be a social media aficionado, and able to navigate your way around Instagram, Facebook and TikTok with ease. With a love for beautiful imagery, you’ll use media supplied by our brands, and also create your own for a unique insight into our product range.

Key responsibilities:

· You’ll be the voice of Equiport on social media – planning, creating, compiling and posting unique content, and replying to customer queries, with a consistent tone to grow our audience and drive engagement.

· Producing captivating marketing emails in line with promotions and product launches.

· Updating and maintaining our customer marketing database.

· Formatting, cropping and cutting out product images for use on our website.

· Writing regular buyer’s guides and new product features for our in-house blog.

· Creating appealing website banner images.

· Understanding our target customers – their needs, priorities and passions – and delivering content that compels them to purchase.

· Writing press releases and liaising with industry publications.

· Artwork creation for digital and print communications.

· Exploring new and emerging trends, formats and channels for content.

· Reporting on engagement metrics to inform future campaigns and strategies.

· Working collaboratively with the e-commerce manager to maintain consistency, quality and accuracy across the website and stock systems.

Skills and experience required:

· A marketing qualification or experience in a marketing role.

· A high level of equestrian knowledge and experience.

· An in-depth knowledge of the major social media platforms.

· A creative flair for creating engaging written, photographic and video content.

· Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office.

· Awareness of SEO principles would be an advantage.

· Organised, and able to multi-task when juggling a varied workload.

· An eye for detail and good proofreading skills.

· Work equally well as an individual and as part of a team.

· Excellent verbal and written communication.

· Have a positive can-do attitude and be willing to help out in other areas of the business as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £18,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
