The Design Your Own Samshield Riding Hat gives you the freedom to create a truly bespoke riding helmet, with over 300,000 possible combinations to explore through the Samshield configurator.
From understated and classic to full sparkle, you can build a look that suits your style.
Start by choosing your preferred shell, either the wide peak Miss Shield or classic peak design. Then select from matt, glossy or premium Alcantara finishes, before exploring the many top options, including Swarovski crystals in various designs, pearls, embroidery, crystal fabric, shimmer, leather, floral details and Alcantara.
Customise the blazon and trim with a choice of chrome, matt and crystal fabric finishes, and add Swarovski crystals in your preferred colour if you want extra sparkle. Miss Shield designs also feature a choice of frontal band.
Complete your design with optional name detailing and your preferred harness style, from the traditional jump harness or a higher-cut dressage harness that allows space for a bun.
How to order

Open the Samshield configurator and create your riding hat, exploring the available styles and finishes. The configurator will update the price at the bottom as you make your selections.

Check your design using the Overview option

Complete the contact form and select Send Your Request.

Your design will be sent to our customer service team, who will contact you to confirm the details, check your size, confirm the final price and delivery details, and arrange payment.
Each hat is made to order by Samshield, with a typical production time of 6–8 weeks. We'll confirm the expected timescale when we discuss your design.
