The Kentucky Moon Boots Elastic are small, ultra-lightweight technique jumping boots with single elastic straps.
Moon Boots wrap around the fetlock area with an open front and protect the hind legs from brushing together during jumping and movement.
The Moon Boots were developed in conjunction with leading international show jumpers, and are designed to enhance the hind leg action over a fence without excessive exaggerated movement or upsetting the horse's balance. They have a lesser effect than the Kentucky Moon Boots Max Elastic.
Each boot has a single elastic strap, which is easy to handle and adjust, thanks to the hook and eye fastenings.
These fetlock boots offer outstanding lightweight protection, due to the inclusion on D3O intelligent molecules within the strike zones. This clever shock absorbing material locks on impact and then disperses the blow, returning to its former pliable self immediately.
Anatomically shaped to offer a comfortable and stable fit, the bonded shell is made from extremely lightweight yet strong TPU, which helps to protect against impact while retaining an elegant finish.
The boots also feature ventilation holes and perforated neoprene linings to help prevent the horse's legs from overheating.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry.
Permitted in FEI competitions, except those to which the young horse boot rule applies.
