This Samshield Shadowmatt riding hat has a black matt coated shell and top panel with elegant metallic burgundy trim and dark chrome blazon for a sophisticated look.

Conforming to VG1 and ASTM 1163 SEI standard, the helmet is finished with a leather chin strap which gives extra security and rigidity, minimising frontal rotation of the helmet when landing over jumps. Thick internal contact memory foam cushions mould to the rider's head and are removable for washing.

All Samshield hats purchased from us conform to the VG1 and ASTM standard, which are accepted by British Showjumping, British Dressage and British Eventing under the new rules.
