Cavalor Derma Wash 500ml

Cavalor Derma Wash is a versatile, hygienic shampoo that is used to wash horses with skin conditions, flaky or dull skin.

Bacterial organisms can spread everywhere - infections are mainly transferred through brushes, headcollars and rugs. Horses can also be fungal carriers without any visible symptoms. If a horse has lowered immunity, they will be more susceptible to bacterial or fungal infections. Therefore, it is definitely important to manage the fungal and bacterial population at your yard.

Cavalor Derma Wash is ideal for washing horses with skin issues, and new arrivals to prevent infections.

It is pH neutral and enriched with glycerin to keep the horse's skin well hydrated with a healthy shine.

Cavalor Derma Wash can also be used to clean rugs, saddle cloths and other horse equipment.

Chlorhexidine

Chlorhexidine is an excellent disinfectant and stops the growth of bacteria and fungi. It is less drying to the coat than other disinfectants, and does not colour the skin. It also has a scientifically proven longer and broader effect.

The other components in Derma Wash have been specifically selected for optimal quality and efficiency, so they do not affect the action of the chlorhexidine. For this reason, Derma Wash will not foam as much as other shampoos.

Directions For Use

Add a small amount (around 30ml) of Cavalor Derma Wash to a bucket of lukewarm water, and apply directly on the horse's body or affected skin with a sponge. Let it soak for a short time, and then carefully rinse off with water.

To clean rugs or saddle cloths, use 30ml of Derma Wash in your washing machine instead of detergent.

To avoid infections, it can be a good idea to wash your horse with Derma Wash monthly, or after intensive contact with other horses.
