The Dy'on New English Grackle Noseband Bridle in Black puts a clever spin on the traditional figure-of-eight design.
Instead of the usual metal rings, the noseband uses padded leather at the crossover points, helping to reduce pressure around the sensitive facial nerves while giving the bridle a clean, understated appearance.
The S-shaped headpiece has an accentuated curve, with the browband positioned lower down to keep the bridle further away from the base of the ears. This helps minimise pressure around this sensitive area and makes the design particularly suitable for the modern sports horse.
A slightly square raised browband and matching raised noseband add subtle structure, while the complete headpiece allows the noseband to attach on both sides for easy, precise adjustment.
Tone-on-tone stitching and stainless steel buckles keep the overall look quietly classic, finished with a steel D initial on the left side of the browband.
Made from Grade 1 Catalan leather, the New English Collection is tanned in Igualada, Spain using a vegetable tanning method developed exclusively by Dy'on.
Natural dyes give the leather an English leather-style finish, while the understated detailing lets the quality of the leather and clever design do the talking.
