The Freejump Soft'Up Classic Plus Stirrups in Black combine an innovative single-branch design with a wide carbon tread, creating a stable platform that encourages the rider to maintain a consistent leg position with the heels down.
Developed in collaboration with rider Penelope Leprevost and Italian design studio Pininfarina, they bring together safety, comfort and performance in Freejump's distinctive style.
The parallel eye is positioned in line with the tread rather than at an angle, as seen on the Soft'Up Pro, encouraging the tip of the foot to turn slightly inwards.
The tread itself is 27% wider than the previous design, helping to distribute pressure more evenly across the foot, while its centre of gravity sits towards the front to encourage a deeper heel position.
Nine tilted studs provide high grip across the carbon tread, helping keep the foot secure during riding.
Beneath the tread, the stainless steel branch features a revised geometry designed to reduce strain on the stirrup and provide greater cushioning than a traditional design, helping to ease pressure through the rider's joints and the horse's back.
The aircraft-grade spring steel branch is 37% more resistant, while the flexible outer branch is designed to open under pressure from the foot, allowing the rider's foot to release in the event of a fall.
