Cavalor ElectroLiq Balance is a liquid solution designed to compensate for your horse's electrolyte losses through major physical exertion.
Electrolytes (potassium, chloride, sodium), combined with adequate fluid absorption, are required to ensure the optimal function of the horse's body. When the horse sweats heavily during exercise, stress or in high temperatures, a lot of electrolytes are lost. This causes the fluid exchange in the muscle cells to work more slowly, retarding muscle contraction, which may lead to weakness and muscle cramps.
After heavy exertion or severe sweating, it is crucial to restore the electrolyte balance to normal as quickly as possible.
To obtain optimal recovery of the body after intense exercise, it is advisable to feed electrolytes with 1kg easily digestible grains within an hour after completion of the performance. The horse must always have fresh water available.
Cavalor Electroliq Balance has a delicious taste to make it palatable to the horse. The liquid form offers a practical alternative to powders, ensuring equal distribution of the product throughout the feed and that nothing remains in the bottom of the bucket.
Cavalor Electroliq Balance contains sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, fructose and dextrose. Current research has shown that the horse may benefit from the presence of fructose. Fructose may promote the absorption and mobilization of electrolytes. An apple flavour that horses find delicious is also added to stimulate appetite.
Dosage
Mix with drinking water or with the feed. (NB Always ensure fresh drinking water is available when using this product).
Ponies and recreation horses: 30ml
Sport horses: 50ml
Max 100ml per day.
