Magnetic Surface Guide

The EquiGrip Max works best on ferromagnetic metals, including iron and steel. Suitable surfaces can include steel stable doors, gates, wash bay posts, stable dividers and non-aluminium lorry partitions.

Stainless steel varies by grade, so if you're unsure whether a surface is magnetic, test it with a fridge magnet first. If the magnet sticks, the EquiGrip Max should hold effectively.

Aluminium, brass, copper and zinc are non-ferromagnetic and will not provide the same level of magnetic grip. For the strongest hold, use a clean, sufficiently thick ferromagnetic metal surface; dust, debris and very thin metal can reduce the effectiveness of the magnetic attachment.
