The Equisk SteadyHands Riding Gloves in Black are designed to help riders develop a more balanced, consistent hand position and a steadier connection with the reins.
An innovative elasticated band links the gloves together, providing gentle resistance that encourages the hands into a more natural, forward-feeling position.
The adjustable band can be set to a wider or shorter distance, allowing riders to work on their individual hand position.
As you ride, pushing the hands gently apart against the resistance engages the muscles used to maintain a more upright and stable position. This encourages greater awareness of hand movement and can help riders rely more on their seat and leg aids rather than the reins.
The connecting band is particularly useful for common rein contact challenges, including hands that move excessively, sit too low or too far apart, turn downwards or become uneven.
By providing continuous feedback as you ride, SteadyHands are designed to help develop better muscle memory and proprioception, encouraging a more consistent contact over time.
A quick-release clip provides an important safety feature, releasing with a short, sharp movement while remaining securely fastened under constant pressure.
The band can therefore provide useful resistance during a ride while allowing the hands to separate quickly when required.
Made from soft, durable engineered leather with breathable stretch panels, the gloves combine their training function with everyday comfort.
An adjustable wrist strap provides a secure fit, while touchscreen-compatible fingertips let you use your phone without removing your gloves.
Suitable for riders at all levels, SteadyHands can provide gentle guidance for beginners developing their foundations, useful feedback for intermediate riders refining their contact and subtle support for experienced riders working on finer adjustments to their hand, wrist and forearm position.
