The tough 1680 denier high-tenacity polyester outer has a smart canvas-look finish and is engineered to withstand the demands of daily turnout.
A PU waterproof coating with an impressive ISO 10,000mm waterproof rating provides reliable protection from heavy rain, while the dirt-repellent surface helps the rug stay cleaner for longer.
Inside, 160g of multi-layer PES fibre fill delivers effective insulation while remaining breathable, allowing air to circulate and helping prevent overheating during changing weather conditions.
The upper section is lined with Kentucky Horsewear's renowned artificial rabbit fur, which feels exceptionally soft against the coat, helps reduce rubbing and creates tiny air pockets that trap body heat for additional warmth.
Thoughtful design details make this rug particularly effective in wet conditions. The anatomically shaped cut follows your horse's contours for a secure fit, while the absence of a back seam helps minimise the risk of water penetration. The artificial rabbit fur lining also helps keep the rug stable and correctly positioned, even after rolling or lying down.
For secure fastening, the rug features a hook and loop front closure with two front clasps, two strong seatbelt-webbing cross surcingles, a plastic-covered bungee tail cord for easy cleaning and a protective tail flap for additional weather protection. Brown artificial leather trim and matching piping add Kentucky Horsewear's signature refined finishing touch.

Machine washable at 30°C. To maintain optimum waterproof performance, Kentucky Horsewear recommends applying a fluorocarbon reproofing treatment after approximately every fifth wash.
